Nissan has found an ingenious way to involve its customers with the upcoming Armada Mountain Patrol concept. The Japanese automaker has opened a voting system to people on its Facebook and Instagram pages, where they can vote on a few categories of the vehicle, which will eventually make through to the final concept. The voting polls are open for three weeks which will follow results. This is the first redesign of Armada after 2004, so the new off-roading amenities will surely boost its popularity.

Voting is only applicable for selected categories such as choosing the tire model, the roof-mounted tent and so on. The truck shall debut at the 2019 Overland Expo West which will be held May 18-20 in Arizona, right after voting ends on May 10.

Under the hood of the utility truck is a 5.6-liter V-8 engine that makes 390 hp and sends power to all the wheels with the help of a seven-speed automatic transmission system. Impressively, the 2018 Armada Mountain Patrol concept supports 8 passengers easily and has a towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds.

To transform the Armada from a classical SUV design to a USV, Nissan has made some clever adjustments, which of course are under wraps for now. All relevant details about the off-road capabilities of the vehicle shall be known as soon as it is revealed next month.
