A reader of Carscoops has found an image on Zagato’s website of what appears to be the Lamborghini L595 Zagato Roadster variant. Although not authentic by any means, we believe it is the latest creation by the Milan based Coachbuilding Company and will be arriving anytime soon.
The image was found on the company’s website with the title, 2018 Lamborghini L595 Zagato. It shows the exterior of the car revealing its unique body structure and well-crafted head and tail lamps. The roof is obviously different from the coupe and features an open-air setup with a folding roof and distinct engine cover.
Powering the original L595 Zagato was a 5.2-liter V10 engine which delivered 570 horsepower and 397 lb.-ft of torque. With this engine, the coupe was able to hit the 100 km/h mark in just 3.4 seconds. We can expect the Roadster variant to carry the same engine.
The Lamborghini L595 Zagato Roadster will be produced in limited numbers and will definitely carry a hefty price tag. We do not know anything about its debut date or debut venue, however, considering the original L595 Zagato was displayed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, we believe the roadster will also debut at the same event.
