The 2018 Yenko/SC Silverado was originally introduced by the Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) last February with a 4×4 system. However, the company decided to spice things further and has launched a rear-wheel drive version.
Under the hood, the 2018 Yenko/SC Silverado carries a supercharged 6.8-liter LT1-based V-8 engine developing 800 horsepower and 750 lb.-ft of torque. The truck also features 6.1-inch Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers,16.1″ Duralife™ vented rotors, larger front sway bar, Specialty Vehicle Engineering’s lowering package, Rancho shocks, skid plates, Hill descent control and automatic locking rear differential with 3.42 rear axle ratio.
The 2018 Yenko/SC Silverado also boasts cosmetic changes such as the upgraded front grille, tailgate, doors, and exclusive Yenko stripping. The 22-inch Torque Thrust wheels further add to the overall sporty look of the truck. The interior is almost same as the standard Chevy Silverado but the customer can opt for optional features.
SVE will build only 25 units of the 2018 Yenko/SC Silverado rear-wheel version. We cannot confirm if it could make its way to the Middle East.
