The 2019 Maserati Levante Trofeo has been revealed at the 2018 New York International Auto Show, with quite a few eye-opening features and specs. The powerful new 3.8-liter dual turbo V8 of the SUV makes 590 horsepower and 538lb-ft of torque moving it from 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds on to an impressive top speed of 187 mph.
The exterior and skeleton of the SUV have been ameliorated to handle the high torque from the engine, which includes a Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel Drive feature and a sturdy chassis. There are hints of carbon fiber usage in the body to reduce the overall weight of the Levante and new cooling vents on the hood to allow better ventilation to the engine.
Inside the cabin, there is Pieno Forte leather available in 3 colors of red, black and tan with contrasting colored Trofeo stitching on the headrests. Carbon fiber highlights can also be seen inside the SUV in the paddle shifters and the trim made from the compound. Other amenities include floor mats, Trofeo badges, instrument cluster, and a Maserati clock.
A special edition model will also be released at the Levante’s launch, which will add matte Grigio Lava paint with matte 22-inch rims hiding red brake calipers. The special edition will also provide 8 color options, fog daylight rings, Black Chrome Maserati badges, Trofeo Saetta emblems, and side air vents.
The 2019 Maserati Levante Trofeo is expected to start production this summer, in Italy and will first be seen on North American roads. Pricing details will be revealed close to the SUV’s release.
