The 2019 KIA K900 is scheduled for debut next week at the 2018 New York International Auto Show, however, the automaker has revealed some key details regarding its upcoming flagship sedan.

The published images of the exterior design of the new K900 show that it follows a minimalist design approach. The front profile comprises of a large grille with mesh pattern, sculpted bumper and LED headlights. The character lines stretch all the way from front to the rear giving the 2019 KIA K900 a sporty feel.

On the inside, the new K900 boasts stitched leather lining on top of the dash, while below it features a strip of real wood. The control knobs are made of real metal indicating maximum opulence. The front dash also includes two 12.3-inch digital screens; one is used as an infotainment system while the other serves as the instrument cluster.

The overall wheelbase of the new K900 is longer and wider than its predecessor. The platform underpinning the flagship sedan is the same as the one found in Genesis G90. The powertrain will also be the same as the Genesis, which is a 365-horsepower 3.3-liter twin-turbo V-6. The upper trim will have a 5.0-liter V8 unit developing 420 horsepower.
