The Nissan IMx was first displayed last year at the Tokyo Motor Show and now a new version dubbed Nissan IMx Kuro Concept has made its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

The Nissan IMx Kuro is a zero-emission crossover which provides a glimpse of what Nissan will offer to its fans in future. It features some impressive high-end technologies including the future version of ProPILOT that renders a fully automated drive. On activating the ProPILOT mode, the system reclines all the seats creating a comfortable surrounding for the passengers. The steering wheel can also be pushed inside the dashboard.

Another new technology offered in Nissan IMx Kuro concept is B2V which assures to speed up the driver’s reaction time and enable the car to adapt to its surroundings in order to make the drive more comfortable. The B2V technology makes use of a device the driver has to wear, as it measures the brain activity, automatically predicting when the brain is about to take any action or detects any discomfort faced by the driver.

Moreover, it offers other intelligent functions such as acting as a ‘virtual power plant’ and helps to return power to a power grid.

Powering the Nissan IMx Kuro Concept are sturdy electric motors installed both on the front and the rear wheels. The combined output of all the motors is 320 kW and 700 Nm of torque. The battery pack offers 600 kilometers of range on a single charge, something the Bolt has to worry about.

Undoubtedly, the exterior and interior design of the IMx Kuro Concept are also stunning. However, the automaker has not yet revealed any plans to launch the production version any time soon.
