The refreshed 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43 is all set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show and although some may think it virtually looks the same as the previous model there are some profound changes made to the sedan.
Starting with the design, the 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43 now includes LED lights available as a standard, the front grille boasts a revised look, while the front bumper also incorporates a pair of flics for the air vents.
At the back, the shape of the quad exhaust tips is now round instead of angular and the diffuser has been redesigned to appear more aggressive. The wheel design has been upgraded as well and the automaker claims the alloy wheels have been created in the wind tunnel for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
Besides cosmetic updates, the 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43 also features an enhanced powertrain. Powering the sedan is the same biturbo 3.0-liter V6 unit but with bigger turbochargers which have helped to increase the total power output from 362 horsepower to 385 horsepower. The torque remains at 385 lb.-ft.
On the inside, the refreshed AMG C43 offers a digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster with selectable viewing modes. Other standard features include a 10.25-inch infotainment display and a flat-bottomed AMG steering wheel covered in Nappa leather.
More details will be uncovered when the 2019 Mercedes AMG C43 makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
