The McLaren Senna is all set to arrive next week at the Geneva Motor Show. The interesting thing is, it is a limited-edition mid-engine sports car with production limited to just 500 units and all the models have already been sold out. The starting price of the sports car is £750,000, however, the automaker has just announced a new carbon-fiber option for the Senna which will cost an additional £300,000 (approx. $400,000).

The carbon fiber customization has been done by the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division. It adds a total of 67 carbon-fiber pieces on the Senna and takes approximately 1,000 hours for production. The company also states that the yellow detailing on the car takes about 250 man-hours. Moreover, the aluminum wheels are added which weigh 10 percent less compared to the standard wheels.

On the inside, the new McLaren Senna with Carbon theme extends black Alcantara upholstery for the seats while rest of the elements remain almost the same.

The official word suggests almost all customers have chosen some customization options offered by McLaren MSO division. Along with the McLaren Senna, the automaker also promised a surprise announcement which we will get to know next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
