Sharjah Police have bumped the speed limit on Maliha road from 100 km/h to 120 km/h. The decision was made by a particular council which oversees the safety of motorists in the UAE. The new limit for Maliha road will be imposed soon after the completion of the maintenance work.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Alai Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrol Department of Sharjah Police, informed us that the decision is part of a comprehensive safety plan and the authorities have installed mobile and fixed radars to ensure safety on the roads and motorways.
Please note the radars will activate on 141 km/h, so make sure you follow speed limits and abide by the laws to prevent a ticket.
