The 2019 Lexus UX Crossover is scheduled to debut next week at the Geneva Motor Show but the automaker has taken a step forward and revealed the first official images.
The published image shows the front fascia of the new 2019 Lexus UX Crossover featuring the large signature Lexus grille, new fog lamps, and updated fender flares. New LED headlights can be seen as well but we believe they will be offered on a high-end version. Moreover, a teaser video has been released giving a hint about the crossover’s interior incorporating a large infotainment display. The UX Crossover looks very different compared to the UX concept displayed by Lexus back in 2016 at the Paris Motor Show.
We do not know much about the powertrain specifications but reports indicate it will have a similar setup as the Toyota C-HR which rides on the Toyota TNGA modular platform. In the U.S., Lexus has trademarked the “UX 200”, “UX 250” and “UX 250h” names indicating the crossover will be available with at least three powertrain options.
More details regarding the powertrain and performance will be disclosed when Geneva Motor Show kicks off next week.
