Ethisphere Institute, world’s leading organization for setting and promoting ethical business standards, has awarded Volvo Cars the 2018 World’s Most Ethical Company accolade. This marks the second time that Volvo has earned such a privilege. The Swedish automobile maker was among the three companies in the Automotive segment, which were part of a much larger list of 135 companies.

In recent years, Volvo has improved its standards of doing business, founding a Compliance & Ethics program it has solidified its stance toward responsible business practice and curbing and diminishing unlawful and unethical actions. The Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for Business Partners, both established on worldwide accepted customs and merits, outline the decency which organizations and people related to Volvo Cars have to observe and follow.
Solidifying their stance in the adherence to ethical practices, Volvo has devised an expansive program for the training and improvement of all workers, coupled with unordinary training for managers to improve their public dealing and behavior.
Just recently, Volvo announced the achievement of a record number of sales for the year 2017, which exemplifies Volvo’s compliance with the culture of ethical action that it has created. In accordance with these factors, Volvo hopes to achieve big success in the coming years.
