Robert Bosch GmbH, commonly known as Bosch, is set to reveal its new range of mobility services for car drivers, at the 2018 Bosch ConnectedWorld event, which will be held in Berlin from 21-22 February. Bosch hopes to make the road experience hassle-free for drivers by improving safety and convenience along with diminishing road rage and stress on roads globally. Gartner, a market research organization, claims that by the year 2020, a quarter of a billion vehicles will surely be connected.

Among the technologies and apps, Bosch will unveil is the COUP e-scooter service, which already functions in Berlin and Paris and will soon be available in Madrid. The service mirrors the concept of Uber, except that the vehicle used will be a small scooter, which users will be able to book and avail instantly.

The moveBW app will also be presented offering the users intelligent advice on the best route to move around in the city. There are various modes available for users to discover.

Furthermore, a range of stress-free mobility technologies will be revealed, which provides the utmost convenience to drivers by saving their time. There is a community-based parking search engine that aids users with finding parking space. Additionally, the automated valet parking app lets drivers control car-parking from their smartphone. Also included in the list are over-the-air software updates, Perfectly Keyless, Predictive Diagnostics, Concierge Service, and Secure Truck Parking.

A diverse range of accident-free mobility connectivity devices and apps will impress the public. Included in the mobility services for car drivers, is Bosch’s wrong-way driver alert, which uses cloud technology to gather data and present to users, together with eCall, mySPIN and more.

In the electrified mobility segment, Bosch GmbH has a charge and pay application, which finds the nearest charging station for your electric car.
