Audi has joined hands with ABT Sportline, one of its racing teams, to produce an enhanced limited edition 700 hp Audi RS 6 Avant. ABT Sportline supervises Audi’s electric range that is part of the Formula E initiative. By implementing their technical skills, ABT has upgraded an already spectacular car.
The tuned Audi RS 6 Avant is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine which pumps out 695 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque as compared to the standard version’s 597 hp with the same engine. The RS 6 with its newfound power can scurry to an impressive 199 mph of top speed. The carbon-ceramic brakes hide behind the 21-inch wheels to curb the car’s progress.
Inside the vehicle, a contrasting combination of blue and grey is used. The door panels, the transmission tunnel, and parts of the seats all follow the blue hue. The 150 examples of the vehicle will be painted with Nogaro Blue color, hence, giving it the name Audi RS 6 Avant Nogaro Edition.
All these features come with a hefty price of $170,000. Audi is tight-lipped regarding the regions where they will launch the RS 6 special edition, however, there is a strong possibility it will only be for customers in Germany.
