Chinese auto enterprises have a habit of duplicating other famous marques like Porsche, Suzuki and Honda. The latest adaptation is an old classic, the BMW Isetta. The Chinese automaker Eagle has copied the car with no regard for originality.

The BMW Isetta, which was in production from 1956 and 1962, is dubbed as the ‘bubble-car’ representing its era. Eagle has replaced the construction material but did not alter the shape, with the exception of a tweak on the rear of the car.

This overt Chinese adaptation is dubbed as the EG6330K. Foregoing tendencies and in essence with the current and future trends, the car is fitted with family-friendly 4 doors and an all-electric drivetrain. Powered by the 72 kWh lead run batteries, giving life to its front placed single motor, the bubble car moves with a sluggish pace owing to its power output of just 5 hp. However, the battery does provide decent mileage to allow the mini-car to reach 87 miles before the next recharge is needed.

The Chinese automaker Eagle has decided to market the car to the younger generation, who yearn for a retro style car, or more appropriately to the older folks who hope to downsize to a smaller, fuel-efficient vehicle. There is no complaining about the befitting price of $4,000 for the EG6330K.
