Mercedes is giving out a brand-new Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe for free to the winner of a digital competition that will play out during Super Bowl LII on Sunday, February 4th.

The challenge, termed as the ‘Last Fan Standing’, will begin at kickoff. This modern spin-off of the traditional game will require players to keep their one finger on the virtual vehicle. A Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe will move around the player’s smartphone screen and they need to touch it for as long as they can. The person who will be able to touch the car for the longest time would win the original car.

All participants of the game will be monitored on a live counter, which will show how many players have given up and how many are still in the competition. Reflecting on the idea Vice President of Mercedes’s USA chapter Drew Slaven said, “We wanted to get beyond the traditional game-day executions and do something that was more reflective of the social co-viewing phenomena that game day has become with people alternating between watching the big screen and socializing on the small one”.

Interested people can visit the LastFanStanding.com dedicated website to practice for the upcoming competition and invite their friends to join. Useful tips on gameplay and strategies will also be available for the players to go through, so that when registrations start on February 4th all is clear and understandable. Special rewards will be available if users share their experience on social media sites such as a fruitful five-minute time-out which can be redeemed later.
