Dubai Police has welcomed yet another luxury vehicle in its patrolling fleet to improve the cooperate identity.
The new Bentley Bentayga was delivered by Al Habtoor Group to support Dubai Police’s efforts to make the city a better place. Known to be the world’s most luxurious and fastest sports utility vehicle, the SUV was showcased at City Walk on Thursday carrying the note from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ‘Thank you Mohammed bin Zayed’.
Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation Affairs, and Brigadier Mohammed Rashid bin Sirai Al Muhairi, deputy director of the general department of criminal investigation, welcomed the Bentley Bentayga from Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor, vice-chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, at the headquarters of the Dubai Police.
Major-General Al Mansouri praised Al Habtoor Group for its endeavors in underlining the national part of the Dubai Police in helping the society.
This step by Al Habtoor is a part of the group’s efforts to coordinate with government entities. “The Dubai Police have progressed in various fields through these years and handle issues with professionalism, making it a role model in the world in term of advancement,” he added.
First-Lieutenant Saif Sultan Al Shamsi, head of the tourist security patrols department highlighted the salient features of the 2018 Bentley Bentayga. It houses a 6.0L 12-cylinder powerhouse pumping out 600 hp. This huge power can take the vehicle to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The top speed is limited to 301 km/h, which is possible through eight-speed transmission channeled to all the wheels.
The Dubai Police Bentley Bentayga will feature a computer for operational control and an exclusive radar to record traffic breaches.
