The Tokyo Auto Salon, scheduled for 12-14 January, will be the displaying ground for the Nissan Leaf Grand Touring Concept as per the automaker’s announcement. The Japanese automaker will also present 14 other Nissan models at the show including Fairlady Z, NV350 Caravan Grand Touring Concept, X-Trail Grand Touring Concept, Serena e-POWER AUTECH Concept and Heritage Edition along with its Leaf GT concept.
Although Nissan did not reveal much about the much-awaited Leaf but deducing from the image, the vehicle includes a sharp two-tone color pattern with blackened outdoor handles and wheels.
The rocker panels and the dark hues project a sportier and outdoor vibe for this model. The Leaf Nismo concept unveiled in Tokyo a few months earlier exudes a much stronger semblance of sports and athletics in comparison.
Unlike most other Nissan Nismo vehicles, the color scheme reminiscent of the Grand Touring Concept and athletic attributes and features like sport-tuned suspension, Continental summer tires and a lowered and sharper tuning for quicker reflexes give it a soft, milder look.
The Nissan Leaf Grand Tour Concept is expected to exhibit custom parts and accessories for the vehicle with mechanical updates rather than the complete automobile at the show.
