Etisalat Digital has teamed up with Cars Taxi offering them to install CCTV cameras in more than 2,000 vehicles. With this initiative that comes in the wake of a ruling by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), 2,180 cars will have a state-of-the-art surveillance system that will allow Cars Taxi to effectively regulate and perform real-time monitoring of cabs to step up customer experience while ensuring efficient operations and safer driving.
The RTA’s order of installing CCTV Cameras in taxis was a part of its initiative to improve the public transport system in Dubai. The installation of CCTV Cameras in taxis is a step forward toward digitizing the Dubai’s public transport system, building a seamless customer experience and enhancing road safety.
Cars Taxi was launched in 2000 and has expanded its operations tremendously in the UAE over the years. The firm currently employs 8,500 individuals and has 5,271 cabs helping people in their daily commutes.
