The UAE fuel prices for January 2018 are likely to be increased and touching the highest the UAE motorists have ever had to pay. The price for 98 unleaded gasoline has been increased by 0.09 fils (will be Dh2.24), while 95 unleaded gasoline jumped 0.08 fils and would cost Dh2.12 from the start of next year. Likewise, 91 unleaded gasoline has hit Dh2.05 mark with a boost of 0.08 fils. The prices in December were increased by 6%.
Additionally, the price for Diesel has taken a big jump and reached Dh 2.33 with a boost of 0.13 fils. Please note all UAE fuel prices for January 2018 are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax)
Now let’s compare these prices with the highest ever paid by the motorists in August 2015, which was the first month after the ministry released the prices of fuel. 98 unleaded gasoline and 95 unleaded gasoline were traded at Dh2.25 and Dh 2.14 per liter – respectively.
