The interiors of Mercedes-Benz’s next-generation compact cars have been revamped to step up the quality and design of the luxury vehicles. The interiors of the next-generation vehicles by the German automobile producer were showcased recently to provide an overview of the design features of the upcoming compact cars including the new A-class Sedan, GLA, and CLA.
One of the striking features of the interior is the absence of traditional dash cowl which has been replaced by a state of the art infotainment system that consists of a floating screen paired with the conventional screen panel.
The upscale version of the compact car’s interior also has a multifunctional steering wheel, a center stack with a touchpad controller, seat climate regulator and massage functionality for the front seats along with open-pore wood-based interior parts. This definitely is a luxury at another level, which was not available in compact cars.
The new compact cars from Mercedes also have a larger wheelbase that allows for more space. The new design for the taillights provides a larger trunk. The new interiors of Mercedes-Benz’s next-generation compact cars also offer better visibility thanks to the slimmer roof pillars and their claddings.
