A few days back, Elon Musk unveiled the new Tesla Roadster during the Tesla Semi unveiling event. The Tesla Roadster is claimed to be the fastest accelerating production car which is capable of hitting the 60 mph mark in just 1.9 seconds. The roadster also has 620 miles of range, thanks to the huge 200 kWh battery pack.
The Roadster was showcased in two color options – a sexy red and a dark grey – however, the latter did not get much airtime. Nevertheless, if you’d like to see how the roadster will look in other colors, check out this unofficial interactive configurator built by the Graphic Designer Miguel Castro.
With the unofficial configurator, you can design your Tesla Roadster in a variety of different colors ranging from “Obsidian Black”, “Electric Blue” to “Brilliant Yellow”, “Very Orange” and more.
The Roadster is priced at $200,000, while the limited edition Founders Series car costs a whopping $250,000. Customers can book the model by depositing an initial $5,000. Within the first 10 days after the initial deposit, buyers are required to deposit a total of $50,000.
