The Ford F-150 RTR concept was previewed a week back and now the automaker has officially displayed it at the SEMA show.
RTR, which stands for “Ready to Rock”, is a semi-official Ford Performance Division working in collaboration with world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. The Ford F-150 RTR adopts certain styling cues such as the front grille and the LED signature lighting from the RTR mustang. An exclusive RTR skid plate along with enlarged fender flares and an enhanced tailgate with RTR badging are also found on the Ford F-150 RTR. The RTR Tech 6 wheels are wrapped in the 33-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.
RTR has not revealed any photos of the cabin but we know that the F-150 RTR concept will feature a Katzkin interior with the front dash plague autographed by Vaughn Gittin Jr.
The company has not revealed much about the performance except that it will be powered by an upgraded 5.0-liter V-8 engine which will deliver 600 horsepower. The engine will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission transferring power to all four wheels.
Other performance upgrades include revised travel coilovers and rear dampers, extended double wishbones, improved rear axle, new springs, and Currie Enterprise’s full floating hubs.
We are not aware of its pricing yet.
