If you thought the Ferrari LaFerrari or the LaFerrari based FXX K were wild hypercars, wait till you check out the new Ferrari FXX K Evo. It is regarded as the most capable variant of the LaFerrari hybrid hypercar to date.

The Ferrari FXX K Evo features improvement in the car’s aerodynamics as well as the weight. The dual winglet on the FXX K have been replaced by a new twin-profile fixed wing. The rear-wheel arches now extend larger vents, while the front and rear bumpers have been modified as well for improved aerodynamic efficiency.

Comparing to the FXX K, the biggest upgrade is the 23 percent more downforce. Ferrari stated the FXX K Evo will offer 1,410 pounds of downforce at a speed of up to 124 mph. This number increases to 1,830 pounds at the max speed.

Powering the FXX K Evo is a V-12 engine developing 860 horsepower combined with an electric motor, resulting in a net 1,050 horsepower. The engine is paired to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

A few changes have been implemented in the cabin too. For example, the rear-view mirror has been enlarged and now measures 6.5 inches. A new steering wheel has been added as well.

The Ferrari FXX K Evo is not a road-legal car, but the owners can get a taste of it through the XX program.
