The Daihatsu DN Trec concept was scheduled for its debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, but the automaker has previewed the vehicle ahead of the event. Below are some interesting details about it:
The Daihatsu DN Trec concept is a small crossover aimed for those who require practicality of a crossover combined with luxury and style. It is a five-seat vehicle powered by a 1.2-liter petrol hybrid powertrain, although a smaller 1.0-liter turbocharged engine will be offered as well.
Talking about the size, the Daihatsu DN Trec concept is 3.98m long, 1.68m wide and 1.60m tall. The styling cues include LED headlights, LED fog lamps, darkened roof and black cladding on front and rear bumper. The rear-view cameras are available instead of the rear-view mirrors.
On the inside, the Daihatsu DN Trec concept features a large touch infotainment display, a three-spoke steering wheel, leather upholstery, and a multi-tone interior color.
Along with the DN Trec concept, the automaker will also showcase other concepts at the show including DN Compagno which features an arching roof design and will be powered by either a 1.0-liter turbocharged or a hybrid engine. Also, the DN Pro Cargo concept as well as a DN U-Space concept will be on display at the Tokyo Motor Show.
