The 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR receives new slimmer LED headlights, revamped front grille, restyled lower fascia, and enhanced 21-inch wheels. The hood is designed with carbon fiber elements to reduce the overall weight of the SUV.
The automaker has also upgraded the suspension system as well as the chassis and handling for a better road-grip and performance.
On the inside, the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR boasts a large 10-inch touch display infotainment, sport bucket seats, and a new moonroof shade, which can be controlled via gestures. The new seats also help in cutting down the weight by 66 pounds.
Powering the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR is a 5.0L-supercharged V8 engine delivering 575 horsepower and 516 pounds-feet of torque. With this unit, the Sport SVR could sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds, while the top speed will remains 176 mph.
As for the plug-in hybrid version, it will be offered with a 2.0-Liter Ingenium four-cylinder unit paired with an 85 kW electric motor. It is expected to arrive sometime in 2019.
