The new entry level 2018 Acura ILX has been introduced in the United States with a number of luxury amenities carrying an affordable price tag.
The standard features in all the variants include the signature Acura JewelEye LED headlights, eight-way powered driver seats, multi-view rearview camera, auto on/off headlights, one-touch moonroof, Bluetooth connectivity, five-inch multi-view display, smart entry and more. The base model starts from $29,050.
The upper-ILX Premium trim included leather upholstery with memory function, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, eight-inch display, seven-inch on-demand multi-use display and four-way powered seats. The price starts from $31,050.
The range-topping ILX Tech Plus starts from $34,050 and offers AcuraWatch suite of safety and driver assistance technologies, a TFT multi-information display, AcuraLink, navigation system with voice recognition and more.
Customers can also opt for the A-Spec package, which adds styling cues such as a sporty spoiler, 18-inch wheels, opulent black leather interior with grey stitching, fog lamps, side sill garnishes and aluminum brake and throttle pedals. Moreover, a special edition model is also added to the lineup which features 18-inch wheels, side sills, and a rear spoiler. It costs $28,900.
Powering the 2018 Acura ILX is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC engine producing 201 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed dual clutch transmission system.
