Dubai Police drones have taken the lead to monitor traffic and streamline video feed in HD to the command and control center. The drones will also cover calamities, tragedies, and accidents.
The service was introduced by Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, who told media, “It also allows for live transmission from emergency sites, and this will help senior officials make timely decisions.”
“It will assist us in documenting the events and presenting them to the expert authorities,” said Maj-Gen Al Marri.
The recorded videos will also serve to educate officers on different scenarios and dealing with them effectively.
The good thing about these Dubai Police drones is that they are created locally, thus government saved a good amount of money on them. Developing them locally does not mean they are of low standard. They feature latest batteries and have good speed and flexibility.
