For those who were not satisfied with the Land Rover Discovery’s regular 3.0L Si6 engine, we have a good news for them. The automaker has just unveiled a new Land Rover Discovery SVX at the Frankfurt Motor Show and this beast is powered by a brawny 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.
The Land Rover Discovery SVX is designed by the Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations department. Its supercharged V8 engine delivers 525 PS and 625 Nm of torque. The Discovery SVX is the first Land Rover model to be fitted with Hydraulic Active Roll Control, which enhances body control as well as off-road traction. Moreover, the Goodyear all-terrain tires further improve the handling and road grip of the SUV.
Additional driving systems including Hill descent control, Traction control, Dynamic stability control, All-terrain Progress control and more, ensure a phenomenal drive on rough landscapes.
The styling cues include a modified front and rear bumper, new skid plates, light bar on the roof and orange accents.
On the inside, the Land Rover Discovery SVX offers a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 10-inch touch display infotainment system with 4G Wi-Fi support.
The automaker has not mentioned the pricing details and we are also not sure whether the Discovery SVX will arrive in the Middle East or not.
