The BMW X7 concept was scheduled to debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, but someone at Bimmerpost managed to leak the images of the SUV that looks absolutely fabulous. Please note the design is a little different from the details we shared at the start of this year.

Up front, the BMW X7 concept boasts large kidney grilles with sharp laser headlights and massive air intakes. Flush mounted door handles and electric charging ports can be seen on the front fender indicating that it will be a plug-in hybrid car. The rear section resembles the Z4 concept with slim taillights, while on the top, it sports a panoramic glass roof.

The cabin is exceedingly luxurious featuring a number of chrome elements, a digital display behind the sporty steering wheel, a large center stacked touch display, luxurious upholstery and two LCD displays for the rear seats.

Regarding the powertrain, the BMW X7 concept is likely to adopt a 3.0L or a 4.0L V8 engine from the 7-Series. The higher performance variants might carry a 6.6L V12 unit, while the hybrid version will most likely be equipped with a powertrain similar to the one found in the BMW 740e iPerformance that is a turbocharged four-cylinder unit paired with an electric motor and a 9.2-kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

More details will be uncovered when the BMW X7 concept makes its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
