Ford has developed a spectacular new Ford Ranger Black Edition that is debuting this month at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It will be available in limited numbers.

While the regular Ford Ranger features chrome components, the new Black Edition will sport a gorgeous dark theme with a new body paint, known as ‘Absolute Black’. Every exterior element including the front grille, alloy wheels, door handles, and sports bar are covered in black paint.

On the inside, the Ford Ranger Black edition offers satellite navigation, front parking sensors, rear-view camera, dual-zone climate control, SYNC 3 infotainment display, leather upholstery, power folding heated side mirror and more.

It will provide buyers two engine options i.e. a 2.2-liter four-cylinder unit generating 160 PS and 385 Nm of torque and a 3.2-liter five-cylinder engine with 200 PS and 470 Nm of torque. Both the engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission system.

The bad news is that the Ford Ranger Black Edition will not be sold outside Europe, so it is highly unlikely to see it here in the Middle East. More details will be revealed on September 14th as the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show kicks off.
