The Road and Transport Authority has announced free parking on Eid ul Adha from Thursday, August 31 to Monday, September 4. This will be implemented on all parking lots, except multiple storey parking lots.

Similarly, the Integrated Transport Center in Abu Dhabi also announced free parking on Eid ul Adha from August 31 to September 3.

The RTA Customer Happiness Centers will be closed from August 31 to September 3, as well.

The Vehicle Testing and Registration Centers will also be closed for the first two days of Eid ul Adha.

Operating hours for public transport (including trams, buses, the Dubai Metro Stations and marine transit stations) have also been announced in a new traffic plan formulated by the RTA. Complete operating hours of the public transport are available on the RTA website.

The free parking policy and traffic plans in Dubai are implemented for the facilitation of residents and visitors expected in the Emirates on Eid holidays (an estimated 350,000 people per day). Free parking was also offered in Ramadan.
