We have got some good news and some bad news for the Alfa Romeo fans. The bad news is, the automaker has announced the pricing details for the 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio with $1,500 extra on its tag, however the good news is it will feature two new important upgrades.

The 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio will include a 14-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking as standard. Both these facilities are optional in the 2017 model and cost an extra $1,400, so technically the 2018 Giulia Quadrifoglio costs only $100 more than the current model.

The addition of forward collision warning system also gives the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio an edge over its competitors including the Mercedes AMG C63 and BMW M3, since the same safety technology is not available as standard in either of the two.

As for the powertrain, the 2018 Giulia Quadrifoglio will be powered by a Ferrari-sourced 2.9L twin-turbo V6 developing 505 horsepower. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission allowing the luxury sedan to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 191 mph.

The starting price of the 2018 Giulia Quadrifoglio will be $75,095.
