The 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe lineup has been expanded with a new ‘Custom’ trim’. The price starts at $44,995 including destination.
The 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe Custom is based on the LS trim and is powered by a 5.3L V8 engine capable of delivering 355 horsepower and a fuel economy of 23-mpg (highway rating). On the inside, the Tahoe Custom sports an 8-inch touch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality along with 4G LTE and remote engine start/stop. It boasts a towing capacity of 6,600 pounds and an enlarged cargo space of 54 cubic feet because the third-row seating has been removed.
In terms of design, the 2018 Tahoe Custom sports a bulky look, thanks to the 18-inch aluminum wheels and a chrome accented front grille.
Customers can also opt for added safety features such as forward collision alert, automatic high beam headlights, lane keep assist and low speed forward automatic braking. Moreover, the trailering package improves the towing capacity to 8,600 pounds.
The 2018 Tahoe Custom will be arriving at the dealerships in the United States this September. However, we cannot confirm at the moment when it will make its way to the GCC markets.
