The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has initiated an online system allowing employers to release NOCs for Dubai driving license to their workers with just a click of a button. Surprisingly, it will take only 3 minutes, while the manual system requires preparation and authorization letters.
“The system saves the time of applicant as the NOC can be issued in less than three minutes, besides saving the hassles of preparing and endorsing letters and enhancing the governance of transactions,” said Jamal Assada, director of drivers licensing at RTA’s Licensing Agency.
Dubai government is working hard to transform Dubai into a Smart City. They want the firms to sign-up at the RTA website and create an account for transactions. It will allow them to issue NOCs for Dubai driving license.
“Developing this online system caters to the needs of business organizations for a standardized online system for the issuance of NOCs to some categories of employees who are required to present such NOCs for obtaining driver licenses,” Assada emphasized.
RTA’s main goal is to eliminate the paper-based transactions and streamline all the processes to make the lives of motorists easier.
