It is very common to see automakers introducing new supercars with hybrid powertrains, but this may be the first time someone has launched an all-electric sports utility truck. Titled as Bollinger Motors B1, the all-electric pickup truck is the first-ever SUT offering a range of up to 200 miles.

The prototype of the Bollinger B1 was first showcased at the Classic Car Club of Manhattan, where probably every detail about the SUT was revealed by the automaker. The Bollinger B1 rides on a lightweight aluminum architecture, and measures 150 inches long and 76.5 inches wide. The design of the SUT resembles that of a contemporary heavy duty truck with a straightforward vertical front fascia and a single door on each side of the sport utility truck. The overall weight of the truck is 3,900 lbs.

It is powered by a dual motor all-wheel-drive system, which delivers 360 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque. This engine will allow the Bollinger Motors B1 to achieve the 60 mph mark in just 4.5 seconds and go all the way to 127 mph. Two battery options will be offered; 60 kWh with 120 miles and 100 kWh with 200 miles.

The Bollinger B1 is expected to enter production soon. The pricing details have not been announced yet.
