The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato and Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante were first showcased last summer at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours. We believe to see its launch very soon along with another model, which will be Vanquish Zagato Speedster. The Zagato concept was first unveiled in May 2016.
The Vanquish Zagato Speedster was spied a few days back at Nurburgring wearing absolutely no camouflage, while the Zagato Volante convertible has been caught recently on the public roads with the same sexy matte black paint job and no disguise.
Both the Vanquish Zagato models (coupe and convertible) as well as the Speedster will be powered by a naturally aspirated 5.9 liter V12 engine, which would produce 592 horsepower and 465lb ft of torque. The engine will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system. Aston Martin claims the Vanquish Zagato coupe will be able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in under 4.0 seconds.
The production of the Vanquish Zagato Coupe and Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante are limited to 99 units each and the starting price is expected to be around $850,000. As for the Speedster, only 28 examples will be built. Although the pricing details are not confirmed yet, but reports indicate it will cost over a million dollars.
Both Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante and Zagato Speedster are expected to make their public appearance at 2017 Monterey Car Week.
