Those who had complains regarding the lack of latest safety and tech features in the Jaguar XJ sedan can now rejoice as the automaker has revealed the new 2018 Jaguar XJ. It comes packed with impressive enhancements including a new supercharged XJR 575 performance model.
On the outside, the new 2018 Jaguar XJ sports revised daytime running lights, rear lights and front indicators. The interior extends a new 10-inch infotainment display with Wi-Fi hostspot functionality, which allows up to eight devices to be connected.
The new Jaguar XJ also features modern safety features including automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, front cross traffic warning and a driver monitor system.
Regarding the XJR 575 performance model, it is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system. Electronic differential plus steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles are also included.
The XJR 575 also benefits from an enhanced aero body kit with glossy black air vents, new 20-inch blackened wheels, red brake calipers and exclusive badging, which differentiates it from the regular models. Customers can opt for the XJR 575 in two unique color options – Velocity Blue and Satin Corris Gray.
The new 2018 Jaguar XJ range will arrive at the dealerships later this year.
