For those who currently own an Audi R8 or Audi TT and are surprisingly not satisfied with its exceptional performance, the automaker has introduced a new line of performance parts which will further enhance the overall driving experience of the Audi R8 and TT quattro-coupes.
Both R8 and TT can be fitted with new aero kits, which significantly improves the downforce. The downforce on Audi R8 can now be 250 kg (551.2 lb) at 330 km/h (205.1 mph). A large rear wing, splitters and additional vents on the hood can also been added. Each component for the R8 is made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP), while for the Audi TT Sport, a few elements are made out of plastic as well. Also, all the elements feature exclusive Audi Sport logo.
An ultra-light muffler from Exhaust supplier Akrapovic is also available for both the TT and R8. It helps to reduce the weight of the car and improves the sound as well.
The stock brake linings are replaced with more powerful and reliable, sport brake linings. The carrying plate is made of ultra-light titanium for the R8, while TT could feature steel front brake discs. Moreover, two-or three-way coil over suspension kit will also be available.
On the inside, both the models can benefit from Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a unique red-colored marking, CFRP shift paddles plus an optional carbon fiber strut cross brace for Audi TT.
The Audi Sport performance parts will be available later in summer this year.
