Most of the SUVs, we usually see in the market, focus on practicality and an excellent off-road performance, but what if we acquaint you with a super-fast and luxurious SUV that might be hitting the markets soon. Reports from a UK motoring website, Car Magazine, indicate that a Ferrari SUV might be under works and it will replace the GTC4Lusso.

Car Magazine further tells that the Ferrari SUV, code-named F16X, will ride on the company’s aluminum architecture and will have a higher ride height compared to the GTC4Lusso. Moreover, it will feature backwards-opening suicide doors and an all-wheel drive layout.

The GTC4Lusso is powered by a V12 engine, however report mentions the automaker might ditch that and opt for a V8 engine paired with a hybrid system.

Talking about the price, the Ferrari F16X SUV will reportedly be priced over $342,000. Some rumors suggest it will arrive by 2021, so the price might change over the years.

During the last few years, we have seen a number of luxury automakers who previously never made utility vehicles, taking the big leap. The Lamborghini URUS is currently in works, while Aston Martin has also announced to launch the DBX crossover by 2020. With the launch of Ferrari F16X SUV, the automaker will compete against the likes of Porsche Cayenne.
