After so many spy shots and teasers, the most powerful road-going 911 ever, the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is finally unveiled at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Powering the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-6 cylinder engine paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system. The engine churns out 700 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Official word suggest that the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS could go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds.
Moreover, it features the widest Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 325/30ZR21 tires which extend an impressive performance and offers superior handling. Customers can also opt for the optional magnesium wheels which are one of the lightest wheels ever fitted on a sports car. With the Magnesium wheels, the 911 GT2 RS could achieve the top speed of 211 mph. Also, the titanium exhaust found on the 911 GT2 RS is extremely light-weight.
Buyers can also choose Weissach package which costs additional $31,000 and includes carbon anti-roll bars, magnesium wheels, and a carbon-fiber trunk lid for further weight reduction.
Each unit will cost $294,250, however reports suggest that most of them have already been booked.
