This Eid brings Eidi for traffic violators in Dubai. His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has offered 50% discount on traffic fines committed in 2016 and before to celebrate the Year of Giving. Please note, this will not include fines added in 2017.
Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police has appreciated this initiative. Previously, Dubai Police Traffic department forgave motorists, who executed minor traffic violations in order to foster social responsibility, volunteering and community service. Instead of fining the violators, they were handed over brochures that encouraged abiding by the traffic laws in Dubai and cooperate with Police.
It’s the best time to pay 50% discount on traffic fines at car registrations centers, kiosks, UAE bank sites and RTA centers. Previously, Ajman police also offered 50% discount on traffic fines.
