The facelifted 2019 Cadillac CT6 has been caught testing somewhere in Southern Europe and although it was heavily camouflaged, we can clearly see the exterior design is heavily inspired by the Cadillac Escala Concept.

The Cadillac Escala concept was exhibited by the automaker last year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Cadillac, however, did not confirm whether the concept will turn into a production model or not. But on receiving a good feedback from the fans, the automaker decided to implement the design components on existing models.

The 2019 Cadillac CT6 is equipped with a large front grille along with slim headlamps and vertically placed DRLs, similar to the Escala concept. The taillights in the new CT6 will also be modified to match those on the Escala concept.

We cannot say much about the changes in the interior, but reports suggest the CT6 will feature some advanced electronic driving functions. The Cadillac Super-Cruise self-driving system might also be available along with the CUE infotainment system.

The powertrain details are also scarce at the moment, but we know the automaker is currently developing a twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, which might be pumping blood in the 2019 Cadillac CT6. The car will be introduced for public viewing next year.
