A few weeks back we got to know from Ford officials that the 2018 Ford Focus RS will be offered as a limited edition model. What we did not know then was the pricing details. However, CarsDirect has recently reported that the 2018 Ford Focus RS will start from $41,995 including destination, which means the price escalated by $5,000 compared to the outgoing model.
The price bump is justified as the 2018 Focus will be equipped with an array of advanced standard features including a limited-slip differential, the RS2 package, voice-activated navigation, 19-inch wheels, carbon fiber interior trim, and a black roof. The RS2 package alone offers a number of additional equipment including heated, eight-way powered leather Recaro seats, heated exterior mirrors, heated three-spoke steering wheel and more.
Powering the 2018 Ford Focus RS will be a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 350 horsepower and 350 pounds-feet of torque (475 Nm). The engine will be paired to a six-speed manual transmission system and an AWD will be available as standard.
The automaker will build only 1,000 units of the 2018 Ford Focus for the U.S. markets and 500 for Canadian buyers, so we might not see it here in the UAE. The deliveries will begin later this year.
