Three years after claiming to be the fastest car in the world achieving a top speed of 270.49 miles, Hennessey is again breaking barriers with the 1,451 hp Hennessey Venom GT Final Edition.
Originally, known for making aftermarket performance parts, Hennessy rose to fame with the Venom GT in 2010. Over the years, they produced 12 road going GTs along with one prototype. The Hennessy Venom GT Final Edition is a one-off example that defines the end of Venom GT’s hyper speed era. The supercar retains the same twin turbo 7.0 liter V8 engine as available in the other GTs, but pumps out 1,451 HP and 1,355 lb-ft of torque. The 1,244 KG hypercar sports iconic Glacier Blue paint with white sports stripes and is already been sold for $1.2 million.
Hennessey is now focusing on the successor of Venom GT i.e. the Venom F5. Though the F5 has been making rounds since 2014 with its aim to shatter 290 miles, it still isn’t quite out of the oven yet. When finally released later this year, it will have more of everything compared to GT; more aggressive looks, more aerodynamic efficiency, a more user friendly paddle shift and of course extra horsepower touching to 1,500 mark.
