The Mitsubishi Lancer bids farewell as the automaker is stopping the production of the sedan. But before it happens, customers could grab its last edition, known as the 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Limited Edition. It will arrive at the dealerships later this month.

The 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Limited Edition features new 16-inch black painted wheels, blacked out roof, upper front grille garnish and fenders. The interior boasts black upholstery with red stitching on the steering wheel, shift knob, brake lever, arm rest and on the doors. Moreover, the aluminum pedals along with black headliners add a sporty look the sedan. The front dash has a 6.5-inch display audio system with smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The exclusive ‘Limited Edition badge’ is also found inside.

Powering the 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Limited Edition will be a 2.0L DOHC four-cylinder unit creating 148 horsepower and 145 lb.-ft of torque.

Talking about the limited edition model, Don Swearingen, executive vice president and the CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, stated that the Lancer has retained its popularity by providing customers with exceptional driving experience at an affordable price, thus it was important to bid farewell to the sedan by introducing a limited edition model.

It will slot above the base ES trim and will carry a price tag of $20,660.
