Amongst some of the best concept vehicles displayed at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show, the MG E-Motion concept was a proof of scientific and technical innovation, marking the start of a new era by the British automaker MG (Morris Garage).

It features a unique design profile, which is a blend of sophistication and opulence extending latest technologies such as LED headlights inspired from the London Eye, matrix front grille, vertical taillights and large wheels.

The automaker has not revealed much about the car’s interior, but ensured a large intelligent infotainment display inside, that will be fully internet compatible.

The MG E-Motion concept rides on the pure-electric modular architecture platform and is powered by a plug-in hybrid system, capable of taking it from 0 to 100 km/h in under four seconds. The automaker claims it has a range of up to 500 kilometers.

Talking about the MG E-Motion, Wang Xiaoqiu, General Manager of SAIC Motor stated the company is committed to build fashionable cars attracting the younger generation. He further mentioned the new models will also showcase the technological breakthroughs made by MG motors.

Besides the MG E-Motion concept, the company also revealed the new Liverpool customized version of the MG ZS, which will soon arrive in the Chinese market.
