The 2018 Maserati Ghibli is scheduled to debut later this year; however, it has been caught several times over the past few weeks wearing a disguise. Just recently, the new Ghibli has been spied again with a little less camouflage, which gives us a pretty good idea about the sedan.

Compared to the 2017 Ghibli, the new model would come with an updated front fascia featuring new headlights along with a revised rear profile as well as updated side skirts, exterior mirrors and new exhaust tips. The interior might not feature a lot of updates since the 2017 Ghibli’s interior was upgraded not long ago. The automaker added a new 8.4-inch UConnect display.

The engine specs will also remain same, which means the 2018 Ghibli will carry a 3.0L turbocharged V6 unit developing 345 horsepower. The upper-trim Ghibli S will produce 404 horsepower. Both the models will be paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission system.

The base model would be capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 163 mph, while the Ghibli S could hit 60 mph in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 177 mph.

The Middle East debut will be announced shortly after its arrival in the international markets.
