The Roads and Transport Authority Dubai has announced free parking and made changes in the service timings of its public transport for ‘Isra’a Wal Miraj’ holiday, which falls this Sunday.
According to authorities, there will be free parking on Sunday except the multi-storey car parks and Dubai fish market. Parking charges will be applicable from Monday.
Sunday will be an official holiday for ministries and other federal authorities. All customer centers will also be closed and will resume work on Monday.
The timings for public transport services will also be changed for Sunday. According to RTA, the new operative timings are as below.
The Metro Red Line stations will be in service from 5:30am to 12 midnight, the Green Line stations will be functional from 5:50 am to 12:00 am, and the Dubai Tram will operate from 6:30am on Sunday to 1:00am on Monday.
The timings of public buses at various stations will be: The main bus stations such as the Gold Souk Station will operate from 4:25am to 12 midnight, Al Ghubaiba Station will be in service from 4:30am to 12 midnight and Sub-stations such as Satwa, will work from 4:57am to 11:35pm.
