The Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) in collaboration with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have recently introduced a Platinum Driving Course for those who wish to drive luxury vehicles right after they get their license issued. The driving school has invested Dh1 million approximately on the launch of two luxury SUVs. The tempting Range Rover Voque and Mercedes G500 have aroused the public’s interest instantly. Later on, luxury sport cars will become a part of the glorious fleet.

On an average, the driving classes in Dubai cost Dh5,000 to Dh6,000 per driver and the amount increments with the number of classes and the number of attempts one makes. The Platinum Driving Course on the other hand, costs a fixed amount of Dh30,000. This includes application fee for the license, road tests conducted, pick and drop service on the same luxury vehicle used for training and delivery of the license to applicant’s home or workplace. Nothing extra is charged no matter how many classes or tests are taken. This splendid offer is justified knowing that one can only dream of driving a luxury vehicle at this price.

Alain Nawfal (Chief Commercial Officer, EDI) explained the exclusivity of the course and said that the training program caters to the interest of those applicants who want VIP treatment and are willing to pay for that. The course supports the part of the society that moves on to driving luxury and super cars once they acquire a driver’s license. Their enrollment in this course will help them understand the features of luxury cars before they actually hit the road.
