The Lamborghini Huracan Performante coupe recently made headlines when it broke the Porsche 918 Spyder’s Nurburgring lap record by 5 seconds and reached the finishing line in 6:52.01. This makes it the fastest production car to ever lap the Nurburgring. Recently, the drop-top model of the Huracan Performante has been caught testing on the streets of Germany, which means that it may be arriving soon. The Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder will be carrying a powerful V10 engine which will produce up to 640 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft of torque.

It will also feature the latest “Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva” (ALA) system, which enhances the aerodynamic efficiency of the vehicle by automatically adjusting the spoiler and ducts. Similar to its coupe counterpart, the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder will be capable of achieving 62 mph mark (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph. However, it may weigh a little more than the coupe model.

The Huracan Performante Coupe starts at £213,000, and although the automaker has not yet revealed the pricing details for the Spyder variant, we expect it to cost over £230,000. It will most likely launch toward the end of 2017 or by early 2018.

We expect Performante to arrive here in the UAE shortly after its international launch.
